Do second-grade boys/seven year old boys, like to be hugged?

It all depends on the kid I think if it's people they don't know around it doesn't bother them so much but when the friends are around, they tend to feel weird. My son was a second grader last year, and his teacher was wicked! He would have loved a teacher like you!!!!!! Someone loving and caring, seeing the best in them not always the worst and on bad days a hug always feels good! He also likes when I grab him on the top of his head and shake my hand across real fast and say "whats up little man?" it just depends on the kid, but everyone needs hugs now and then.
