What am i supposed to make of rebirth tales?

Christianity believes in being reborn, but it is a spiritual rebirth that takes place while the person is physically alive and it leads to a spiritual life in eternity with God. Reincarnation is a rebirth back on this earth. What a terrible thought that is. Jesus offers us a better place, not a repeating of the same old corruption that we have here.
