I am a 10 year old and i am wondering do airsoft pellets hurt or do bbs hurt i thought there both the same?

i am a 10 year old i dont cry that much but i just wanna know do airsoft guns hurt do airsoft bbs hurt more than pellets what is the difference please give me some info thanks!
