This is my first EVER "creative journal entry." Do you think I have any potential in writing?

You have a way with words and a there was a nice rhythm to what you wrote here. I think that only by continuing to write every day will you discover if you want to be a writer...certainly, you could be if you wished to do so. There are a couple of free or inexpensive courses online that only last a few weeks but do teach you the basics, I believe writer's village has one of them...Why not take one and see if it fires you up to write more.
